Renna, Regional Environmental Officer for East Africa at the United States Embassy in Addis Ababa, alongside Ms. Anjana Khemraz Chikhuri and Ms. Joanna Chen from the U.S. Embassy in Port-Louis, Mauritius. The meeting focused on exploring exciting opportunities for collaboration in ocean governance and the emerging field of marine biotechnology.
As 2025 approaches with major global conferences like UNOC3, Seychelles continues to lead in ocean sustainability, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. A key discussion highlighted the growing potential of marine biotechnology, with plans to explore its socio-economic benefits.
